**What You’ll Be Doing**:
As our **Systems Support Officer**, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and supporting our IT systems, ensuring our team can work efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities will include:
- **Providing technical support**: Responding to inquiries and resolving software and hardware issues for staff and clients, both in-person and remotely.
- **Maintaining computer systems**: Installing, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.
- **Network support**: Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of computer networks, ensuring connectivity and security.
- **Vendor coordination**: Liaising with external vendors for technical support, equipment procurement, and contract management.
- **User training**: Providing guidance and training to staff on the use of hardware, software, and IT systems.
- **System documentation**: Maintaining accurate records of system configurations, issues, and resolutions.
- **Compliance**: Ensuring IT systems comply with industry standards and security protocols.
- **Call center support**: Providing technical support via phone or remote assistance, ensuring timely resolution of client issues.
- **Administrative tasks**: Assisting with office management duties such as maintaining records, managing inventory, and coordinating office supplies.
- **Budget management**: Assisting with tracking office expenses, managing budgets, and ensuring cost-effective procurement of IT resources.
- **Reporting**: Preparing and submitting internal and external reports related to IT systems, office operations, and compliance.
**What We’re Looking For**:
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- **Experience**: At least 1-2 years of experience in ICT support or a related role, with a strong understanding of hardware, software, and network systems.
- **Technical skills**: Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and experience with network implementation and maintenance.
- **Certifications**: Relevant vendor certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco) or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
- **Problem-solving skills**: A knack for troubleshooting and finding solutions to technical problems.
- **Communication skills**: The ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users clearly and effectively.
- **Organizational skills**: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- **Education**: A Diploma or Advanced Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will also be considered.
