IT Risk Manager

What’s the job?
- We are seeking an IT Risk Manager to join our technology group in our Melbourne office where you will proactively identify and manage risk across all Aurecon technology functions. As an IT Risk Manager, here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’ at Aurecon:
- Manage an IT Risk Management framework, integrated with the wider Aurecon Enterprise Risk Framework.-
- Proactively identify and manage risk through risk assessment, establishing key risk indicators, and monitoring control effectiveness.-
- Drive continuous enhancement of IT risk practices, staying up to date with industry trends and leveraging new tools.-
- Act as the senior contact for IT risk matters, promote a risk-aware culture, and engage with IT and business stakeholders.-
- Ensure risk remediation and acceptance strategies are in place and communicated to key stakeholders.How will your future be shaped by us?

- What are we looking for from you?

You’ll have a genuine passion for re-imagining problems and continuous learning to help shape the future. We value that each of our team members brings something different to Aurecon. We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life.- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT Risk role, preferably in an enterprise consultancy with a global presence.-
- Proficiency in enterprise risk frameworks, particularly ISO 31000.-
- Strong conceptual strength, strategic thinking, problem solving, technical & analytical skills.-
- A tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (preferred, but not required).-
- Experience with Information Security standards and frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and ASD Essential Eight, etc. (an advantage, but not required).Who is Aurecon?
