**Your role**
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced construction lawyer to join Gadens' highly regarded Real Estate and Construction group, working with Daniel Middleton and Andrew Denehy. The team has a strong client base and a solid pipeline of work across a variety of sectors.
The role will see you preparing and negotiating all types of agreements, contracts and documents for building and engineering projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work both autonomously and collaboratively with Partners and other senior members of the team.
You will have considerable client contact and mentor junior lawyers, such as Graduates, as required. In return, you will receive outstanding mentoring and have the opportunity to drive your career working in one of Australia's most dynamic and leading construction practices.
**About you**
With a minimum of 3-4 years PQE, you will have experience in preparing, negotiating and reviewing contractual documentation for a wide variety of complex projects, in addition to sound knowledge of commonly encountered standard form contracts. You will have experience in front end construction matters, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build key business relationships.
You have excellent drafting and analytical skills with a practical and commercial approach to issues. You will be ambitious and demonstrate the ability to provide outstanding service to clients by prioritising and delivering desired outcomes consistently. You have solid verbal and written communication skills and are looking to join a friendly, social and collaborative team.
