Support the preparation of policies, ministerial briefings and correspondence for 3-6 weeks
**Your new company**
This Public Sector Department are focused on bringing services together to support the development of young Australians, with a strong emphasis on building strategic initiatives. They are looking for Correspondence Officer to join them for approx. 3-6 weeks to develop and coordinate ministerial and CE correspondence on behalf of the team.

**Your new role**
Reporting to the People and Culture team, you will provide support by conducting research, preparing ministerial and CE correspondence, and engaging with stakeholders at multiple levels. You will have a strong understanding of government processes and feel competent in working between multiple projects at a time. You will liaise proactively and provide advice on the preparation and management of briefings and correspondence.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you will be available immediately and meet the following key criteria:

- Demonstrated experience working with legislation in a Government environment
- Exceptional writing skills, with demonstrated experience writing ministerial correspondence, briefings and letters
- The ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and consultation skills
