Are you a Project Support Professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a Project Support Officer for a 12+ month contract, working directly to support the Project Manager on cutting-edge Military projects in the Canberra.

Project Support Officer will be accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to their area of responsibility. They will interpret and provide advice within the Project Control function based on legislation, policy and procedures. They will undertake specialist research and analysis, conduct reviews and perform procedural and administrative support work to achieve results.

The successful applicant should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in project support and have experience working withing a Defence Environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in and facilitate the response of enquiries and coordinate the shared mailbox
- Assist in the management and coordination of project activities including:

- Supporting and conducting schedule and risk management
- Stakeholder engagement and management
- Project reporting on PPRIP and MRM
- Coordinating meetings and taking meeting minutes
- Development of project plans and procedures ensuring clear audit trails of critical documentation

Required skills
- Appropriately qualified in and experienced in project support.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Well-developed Defence writing skills.
- Resilience in a highly demanding, constantly changing work environment.
- CASG / Military aerospace domain experience
- Current NV1 Security clearance
