**Downer Professional Services** is comprised of two business units, our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer, a major service partner to Defence. Together, we are a
multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security.
- We currently have an opportunity for a ** Project Support Officer** for a Defence Maritime project based in Canberra.

**What You’ll Do**
- This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
- Provide high-level administrative and coordination support- Manage program documentation, version control, and Defence-standard filing- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and reviews, including agendas, minutes, and action tracking- Support project reporting through briefs, status updates, and dashboard preparation- Maintain and monitor registers including risk, issue, action, and decision logs

**What You’ll Bring**- Experience in Defence or CASG programs as a Project Support Officer or similar role.- Strong understanding of Defence project lifecycles and governance frameworks.- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Defence systems such as Objective and CASG toolsets.- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively.
