At Bupa, our purpose is to help people live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world. This is at the core of who we are, making us a healthcare provider that strives to deliver meaningful change.
**The Opportunity**
The purpose of the Finance Risk Assurance Partner role is to promote the Financial Control and Governance and Risk Management Frameworks within Finance across the Asia Pacific (APAC) Market Unit. This is a specialist role responsible for delivering a robust finance risk assurance plan that meets the needs of the business as well as ensuring appropriate coverage across finance activities.
- This hybrid role is offered on a 12-month fixed term contract, based from our Exhibition Street, Melbourne offices. (Bupa offers flexible working arrangements)._
**How will I help?**
You will add value by:
- Working with the Manager, Finance Risk and Governance to implement an effective risk-based assurance plan (Annual Plan) for the whole of APAC Finance, which supports the needs of the business on an ongoing basis.
- Ensuring Bupa establishes and operates processes to meet relevant requirements under the UK Corporate Governance code
- Ensuring Bupa establishes and operates processes to embed controls over End User Computing (EUC) tools within Finance.
- Executing assurance activities in accordance with the Annual plan by designing testing plans and conducting testing to assess the design and operating effectiveness of key controls and processes.
- Partnering with all areas within Finance on all aspects of financial control and risk management, including but not limited to providing education in and continued monitoring of the implementation of key elements of the Financial Control and Governance and Risk Management Frameworks such as Incident Reporting, Regulatory Change Management and identification and monitoring of legal, regulatory, contractual and policy obligations.
- Overseeing remediation of findings including incidents, ensuring prompt, effective and sustainable solutions and appropriate documentation of decisions.
