You will be assisting the Australian & New Zealand HR Manager with a wide scope of duties as required. Some of these duties may include:

- Interpreting legislation and other information
- Writing policies, researching, gathering and collating information
- Contacting and liaising with employees and people outside of the organisation
- Work Health & Safety projects, training projects, mental health projects
- Booking in interviews and other meetings
- Planning workplace events, preparing contracts, organisational development, Visa’s
- A variety of administration tasks, reporting, sourcing providers, special projects (local & international) + more

We are looking for someone who has the following attributes:

- Committed, hard working, and willing to learn
- Reliable, responsible, understanding, with good sense and sound judgement in practical matters
- Having a very good attitude, have good reading, writing and comprehension skills
- Well presented, well spoken, intermediate computer skills/Microsoft/Teams etc
- Good problem solving skills, willing to deal with difficult situations and stay calm.

In this role the trainee needs to be willing to travel away for work with supervisor when required (including interstate travel), usually 1-2 nights for each location (at company expense).
