An exciting opportunity to join Camden Council’s People Learning and Culture team as a Human Resource Business Partner has become available. This full time temporary position provides a great opportunity to showcase your skills and experience and get a taste for the Local Government sector. Essential:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent industry experience
- Extensive experience in the delivery of recruitment and selection services including the ability to consult and develop recruitment strategies
- Proven ability to contribute towards the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives to meet the needs of the organisation
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, both written and oral and the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders

Desirable:

- Ability to provide generalist support in other functional areas such as industrial relations and learning and development
- Experience delivering training to both individuals and small groups
- Experience in Local Government
- To meet Council’s WHS requirements and in accordance with Council’s Covid-19 Safety Plans, this position has been identified via risk assessment to be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or provide evidence of an approved medical contraindication. If a medical contraindication certificate is provided, it will be assessed against a risk assessment and the decision of whether Council accepts the medical contraindication certificate, will be based on operational needs._
