**How will I help?**
You will join the Insights & Analytics team, within Westpac’s Corporate and Institutional Bank, which is responsible for providing high quality origination and delivery of best-in-class customer and industry insights to differentiate our sales proposition and enhance our conversations with valued clients from a wide range of industries.

You will be a strong Credit Analyst and will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Corporate clients in VIC. You will support the origination process for new transactions, utilising strong Credit skills and industry insights while monitoring and maintaining existing client relationships to ensure a high customer satisfaction.

You will also:

- Write credit submissions including detailed risk analysis and financial forecasting, and be able to present and negotiate submissions through WIB’s risk management decision process
- Review and contribute to credit analysis and transaction structuring.
- Collaborate with Relationship Mangers and product experts to initiate and structure a range of banking transactions while building sustainable relationships with clients
- Ensure all aspects of the credit process, including the required due diligence, are properly executed

**What do I need?**
Credit Analyst experience with a preference for experience within the Corporate or Institutional banking environment. You will demonstrate your knowledge of the Industry risk and deal specific risk with experience writing credits and testing proposals against approved business and credit strategies, target market acceptance criteria and underwriting standards.

Some further advantageous skills:

- Industry credit analyst experience is preferred
- Solid technical credit skills including Financial modelling, cash-flow lending, Financial forecasting, and structuring.
- Experience building and managing customer and internal stakeholder relationships
