Our Financial Crime Domain (FCD) provides delivery and change management support to Financial Crime Operations (FCO) team who are accountable for leading a complex and diverse shared services for Financial Crime Operations across CBA domestically and internationally.

We collaborate closely with financial crime operation, technology, financial crime compliance and business aligned risk teams across the group to support financial crime disciplines such as Anti-money laundering/Transaction Monitoring, Payments Sanctions Screening, Customer Sanctions Screening, Pep Screening, Enhanced Customer Due Diligence of High-Risk customers etc. It is a scale, growing operation that has extensive Transformation plans and focus within the organisation. Our external stakeholders are AUSTRAC, ASO and Law Enforcement.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Review and contribute to system strategy, roadmap and BAU enhancements backlog to meet business objectives
- Contribute to COO strategy and consulted about other strategic initiatives related to particular systems.
- Proactive collaboration with wider stakeholders groups and support business change management
- Uplift team’s capability relating to AML/CTF & Sanctions processes including training, Comms and awareness.
- Maintain an overall understanding of the business functionalities and business controls to ensure continuity of optimal system performance and business outcomes are met. (e.g. review reporting to identify issues, perform CAP testing)
- Drive and oversee the day-to-day management to maintain system relevance, reliability, & security of Financial crime systems. Prepare periodic reporting to share system performance and overall status with stakeholders.
- Partner with various technology teams to manage IT incidents and crisis management to ensure systems downtime are minimised.
- Drive and support different project initiatives (risk remediation, Continues improvements, technology changes etc.).
- Conduct business impact assessment of technical or process changes and approve change requests to Financial crime systems.
- Own and drive system maintenance plans and continues improvements opportunities
- Ownership of business related risks, issues, incidents and problems management
- Responsible for the mitigation of risks for the service over its full lifecycle.Responsible for managing and reviewing user’s access

- Demonstrated prior experience of complex problem solving and dealing with unknown
- Demonstrable business and communication acumen and effective communication skills
