**Position Overview**:
We are currently seeking a passionate and empathetic Support Worker/Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Support Worker/Therapy Assistant at Kind & Collaborative Empowerment, you will play a crucial role in supporting our therapists and clients in various therapeutic activities. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about helping others and making a positive impact in the community.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Support Therapy Implementation**: Assist therapists in delivering therapy sessions by providing hands-on support and ensuring that therapy plans are followed effectively.
- **Client Engagement**: Offer emotional and practical support to clients during therapy activities, motivating them and fostering a positive, empowering atmosphere.
- **Preparation and Organization**: Set up therapy sessions by preparing and organizing materials and equipment, ensuring that the therapy environment is safe and ready for use.
- **Progress Documentation**: Accurately document client progress, behaviors, and interactions, maintaining confidentiality and ensuring records are up-to-date for review by therapists.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and deliver comprehensive care tailored to each client's needs.
- **Participation and Development**: Engage in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about treatment strategies and enhance your skills. Actively participate in professional development opportunities to improve your effectiveness as a support worker.

**Requirements**:

- Open Licence & Own Car
- Working With Children Check (blue card)
- Disability Screening Check (yellow card)
- Current Police Check
- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance, or equivalent qualification, preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in a similar role or a strong desire to work in the healthcare or therapy field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating professionalism and reliability.
- Genuine passion for helping others and making a positive impact in their lives.
