**Disability Support Worker**:

- $38.75 - $69.75 per hour
- Based in Willow Vale
- Immediate start

**About the Company**:
Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

This role is on a casual on-going basis and will involve a roster that includes; Monday - Friday; day (6am-1pm) and (6am - 9am), afternoon (1pm-8pm), Saturday (7am - 11am) and (5pm
- 8pm) and Sunday (7am - 11am) and (5pm
- 8pm).

Pay rates are; day shift - $38.75 p/hr, afternoon shift - $42.63 p/hr, Saturday shift - $54.25 p/hr and Sunday shift - $69.75 p/hr.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Bowel therapy - enemas and digital stimulation
- Personal care duties
- Skin checks
- Hoisting/transfers
- Community access activities (attend appointments, recreational activities etc)
- Medication prompting
- Assist with morning/night time routine
- Assist with school drop off and pick ups
- Meal preparation
- General domestic cleaning

**Skills & Experiences**:

- Completed a minimum of Certificate III in Individual Support
- Must have a driver's licence and reliable transport
- Prior experience working with people who have complex care needs
- Experience with bowel therapy (preferrable - training can be provided)
- Experience with pressure wounds
- Must have hoisting experience
- Current First Aid & CPR
- National Police Clearance
- NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module
- COVID 19 Infection Control certificate
- Full Australian working rights
- Positive Attitudes and flexibility in shift times
- Reliable and proactive
