**About the Company**:
Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

**The Role**:
We are currently looking for Disability Support Workers or Enrolled Nurses to partner with male participant in his early 30's who is based in Labrador, QLD. Our participant recently sustained a spinal cord injury which has resulted in limited movement in his upper body and no movement below the waist.

The current care plan in place requires support 24 hours a day. There are Morning shifts, Afternoon shifts and Overnight shifts available. The Morning shift hours will be (6am - 1:00pm), (6am-8:30am), (1pm-6pm). The Afternoon shift hours will be (6pm - 10pm) and the Inactive Overnight shift will be (10pm-6am).

**Pay Rates**:

- Day - $38.75 per hour
- Afternoon - $42.63 per hour
- Inactive Overnight - $186.80 - $239.50 per shift
- Saturday - $54.25 per hour
- Sunday - $69.75 per hour

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assistance with personal care
- Assistance with bowel therapy (administering enema and digital stimulation)
- Hoisting (full hoist/sling hoist)
- Completing skin checks
- Perform Cough Assist as required
- Prompting Medication
- Assistance with domestic tasks including cleaning & meal preparation
- Assistance with Health & Rehab exercises
- Community access + rehab appointments

**Skills & Experiences**:

- Australian Driver Licence
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current Blue Card
- Current Yellow Card
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Infection Control Training - Covid19
- Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
