**About the Company**:
Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

**The Role**:
We require a Support Worker to partner with a Participant based in Labrador, Qld. Our participant is a middle-aged-male who suffered a spinal cord injury. He has a pet dog (neo mastiff) therefore, must be comfortable working with animals.

This role is commencing immediately (asap) and is casual on-going. The Participant requires support on the following fortnightly rostered days:
Week 1:

- Saturday (1pm - 6pm)
- Tuesday (1pm - 6pm)
- Wednesday (1pm - 6pm)
- Friday (1pm - 6pm)

Week 2:

- Saturday (1pm - 6pm)
- Tuesday (1pm - 6pm)
- Wednesday (1pm - 6pm)
- Friday (1pm - 6pm)

**Pay Rate**:

- Day shift $36.25 per hour
- Evening shift $39.88 per hour
- Saturday shift $50.75 per hour
- Sunday shift $65.25 per hour

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assistance with personal care.
- Assistance with domestic tasks.
- Manual handling; floor and sling hoisting, and transfers.
- Bowel therapy - administering suppositories and digital stimulation.
- Suprapubic Catheter care.
- Assist with ranging and stretching for pain management.
- Autonomic dysreflexia management.

**Skills & Experiences**:

- Australian Driver Licence
- Certificate 3 in Individual Support
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current Blue Card
- Current Yellow Card
- Current First Aid / CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Infection Control Training - Covid19
- Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
