- Job Description
Implement and oversee environmental management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular inspections, audits, and monitoring activities to identify areas for improvement.
Review and assess environmental plans for development and operational activities.
Manage environmental monitoring programs, including water, air, noise, waste, and soil monitoring.
Investigate and respond to environmental incidents in line with procedures.
Deliver environmental inductions and training for staff and stakeholders.
Maintain accurate databases, records, and regulatory reporting.
- Required Skills and Qualifications
Essential qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in implementing or working with Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
Hands-on experience with inspections, audits, and environmental monitoring.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail with ability to identify risks, trends, and compliance gaps.
Current Queensland driver's licence.
Eligibility to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) and pass a Federal Police check.
