Midwife Care Specialist

We are seeking skilled midwives to join our Maternity Care Team at a well-established hospital in Melbourne's western suburbs. The team provides continuity of care from a 'known' midwife, in an on-call capacity, during pregnancy, labour and birth, and during the early parenting period to birthing women/people and their families.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to women and their families
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Participate in education and professional development opportunities
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Bachelor of Midwifery qualification or equivalent
- Current registration as a Registered Midwife with the relevant authority
- Full drivers' licence
- Demonstrated understanding of cultural safety and the issues affecting the health outcomes of First Nations women and families
- Possess excellent evidence-based clinical skills
- Effective time management, communication and interpersonal skills
