About the opportunity
Werribee Mercy Hospital is seeking a motivated and experienced Neonatal Nurse or Neonatal Nurse/Midwife Educator to join the Learning Team. The Learning Team is committed to providing quality education by promoting excellence in professional practice through empowering Nurses and Midwives in the public health sector. The Clinical Neonatal Nurse or Neonatal Nurse/Midwife Educator will work collaboratively with the Director and Deputy Directors of Nursing and Midwifery Education. This role is pivotal in empowering Nurses and Midwives to practice to the fullest extent of their neonatal scope in the Special Care Nursery. Based at Werribee Mercy, you will join a vibrant and forward-thinking Education Team that is transforming how education is designed and delivered.
- Registered Senior Nurse or Nurse/Midwife with AHPRA registration
- Relevant post registration qualifications and experience in Neonatal Intensive Care or related discipline
- Recent practice in Special Care Nursery
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- You demonstrate innovative approaches to problem solving
- Recent Clinical Education Experience
