About the Role:

This position is responsible for providing intake, assessment, evidence-based interventions, and case management services to individuals referred to the service with issues related to substance use. The interventions include advocacy for the client group, counseling, and/or appropriate therapies, withdrawal supervision, and opioid treatment case management. The position also involves providing professional advice to and liaison with other health, community, and welfare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide intake, assessment, and evidence-based interventions to individuals with substance use issues.
  • Develop and implement case management plans to support individuals in recovery.
  • Collaborate with other health, community, and welfare professionals to provide comprehensive support services.
  • Provide professional advice and liaison services to support individuals and their families.

Requirements:
The successful applicant will have a degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, social work, or nursing, and experience working with individuals with substance use issues. They will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
