Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Mental Health Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team in the Murrumbidgee District. As a key member of our community mental health team, you will provide assessments, evidence-based treatment, and case management services to adults with psychological disorders and psychiatric illnesses.

As a Clinical Mental Health Specialist, you will work collaboratively with our team to provide comprehensive mental health services, including crisis intervention, assessment, and treatment planning. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments, evidence-based treatment, and case management services to adults with psychological disorders and psychiatric illnesses

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct regular reviews, and provide ongoing support to patients and their families
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, social work, nursing)
  • Registration with the relevant professional body (e.g., AHPRA, NSW Health)
  • Experience working in a mental health setting, preferably in a community-based role
  • Strong clinical skills, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
