We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Care Specialist to join our team in the Murrumbidgee District. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing medical and forensic responses to individuals who have experienced violence, abuse, and neglect.

About the Role

The primary purpose of this role is to provide integrated crisis responses, non-acute clinical care, case coordination, follow-up medical care, and healthcare navigation to individuals who have experienced violence, abuse, and neglect.

  • Provide medical and forensic responses to individuals who have experienced violence, abuse, and neglect.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to ensure optimal health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support services.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance the quality of care and services.
  • Contribute to research and education initiatives to advance the field of healthcare.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience in a relevant clinical specialty, such as sexual health or women's health.
  • A current registration as a nurse with the Nurses and Midwifery Board.
  • The Education Centre Against Violence (ECAV) Graduate Certificate in Medical and Forensic Management of Adult Sexual Assault (or equivalent).
