Work with us to safeguard the natural beauty of Quandamooka sea country and Moreton Bay Marine Park as a dedicated Ranger. You'll play a vital role in protecting cultural sites, passing on traditional ecological knowledge and ensuring the long-term conservation of this unique environment.

  • As part of our team, you'll be responsible for park management duties, including developing and implementing works programs, assisting with public enquiries and providing accurate information to park users while carrying out patrols.
  • You'll also assist with environmental monitoring, compliance patrols and maintaining facilities such as campgrounds and toilets.

We're looking for a Ranger who has a deep connection to Quandamooka sea country and is passionate about preserving this environment. A positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out park management duties and assist with the development and implementation of works programs.
  • Assist with public enquiries, including providing accurate information and educating park users while carrying out patrols.
  • Bulk up and maintain positive relationships with team members, stakeholders and the public.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • You must hold an automatic/manual driver's licence and have basic administrative skills including record-keeping, using computer applications and equipment relevant to the position.
  • A Coxswain certificate is highly desirable but not mandatory.
