Wildlife Conservation Role

As a Wildlife Conservation Officer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the preservation of Queensland's natural environment and its diverse array of flora and fauna. Your role will involve working in remote areas, patrolling parks and reserves, maintaining facilities, repairing tracks, engaging with visitors, preserving Cultural Heritage sites, protecting threatened species, conducting planned burns, controlling invasive species, delivering education and compliance programs, or managing wildlife rehabilitation and rescues.

Key Requirements:

  • Must hold a current, unrestricted manual driver's licence. (P Plates are acceptable)
  • Some roles require a current Blue Card.
