Job Title: Environmental Conservation and Tourism Specialist

This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Environmental Conservation and Tourism Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering operational plans efficiently and effectively.

The key responsibilities of this position include operating and maintaining plant and equipment, controlling pest plants and animals, undertaking planned burning and wildfire suppression activities, and maintaining park infrastructure.

As an Environmental Conservation and Tourism Specialist, you will also manage small projects, undertake compliance duties, and perform various natural and cultural resource management tasks.

You will work closely with other teams to ensure the success of your projects and collaborate with others to achieve common goals.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver operational plans efficiently and effectively
  • Operate and maintain plant and equipment
  • Control pest plants and animals
  • Undertake planned burning and wildfire suppression activities
  • Maintain park infrastructure

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, as a supervisor, and independently
  • Adaptability and flexibility to meet on-the-ground service requirements
