The Opportunity

This role offers a chance to join our high-performing Patient Billing Team and contribute to delivering excellent patient care. Your key responsibilities will include;

  • Review and correction of patient claims to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Liaising with private health funds and third-party providers regarding unpaid, rejected, and short-paid claims
  • Collaboration with internal teams to resolve claim discrepancies and improve processes
  • Providing clinical documentation to support claim resubmission and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Identifying and addressing billing errors and discrepancies
  • Collections follow-up for patient accounts and resolving payment issues
  • Analyzing aged trial balances and providing insights to management on financial performance
  • Escalating complex claims for review and resolution
  • Performing ad-hoc duties as required by management
