As a Psychologist with ATSICHS Brisbane, you will play a key role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management and support services.
  • Contribute to the development of comprehensive care plans that address the holistic needs of clients.
  • Participate in a culturally responsive and trauma-informed practice that prioritises the voice and agency of our clients.
  • Uphold the values and ethos of ATSICHS Brisbane as a long-standing Aboriginal community organisation.

Requirements

  • Qualifications in Psychology with general registration by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA).
  • Demonstrated ability to apply clinical judgement and prepare accurate reports.
  • Ability to work with culturally and socially diverse clients.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based psychology treatment approaches.
  • Ability to administer assessments and provide intensive therapeutic interventions.
  • Experience in case management and coordination.
  • Disability Worker Screening Card (Yellow Card) or be eligible to apply.
  • Current National Police Check or be eligible to apply.

Preferred

  • Previous experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
