Strategic Product Leader

The role of Strategic Product Leader involves shaping the future of product management with a focus on governance and disclosure. This pivotal position requires collaboration across the business to inform and execute the product roadmap, particularly in areas of governance, regulatory change, and disclosure.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, especially leading Design and Distribution Obligations.
  • Manage risks through timely incident management, designing effective controls, frameworks, processes, and policies.
  • Lead the maintenance and update of product disclosure documents and associated member communications, including significant event notices, website updates, and dashboard updates.
  • Manage timelines, resources, cross-functional teams, and lead change management to ensure successful implementation of product initiatives.
  • Cultivate a supportive environment by coaching, mentoring, developing, and supporting key stakeholders.
  • Promote operational excellence and support distribution strategies.

To be successful, you will have minimum five years demonstrated experience in a similar role or directly related and relevant role in the financial services industry, with at least 3 years demonstrated experience in people leadership roles. Tertiary qualifications in law, marketing, business, or commerce disciplines are preferred, along with strong knowledge of the superannuation industry and regulatory landscape. Proven ability to develop and operationalise product strategies and roadmaps is essential.
