About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Demand and Planning Analyst to join our team in Melbourne. As an IT Demand and Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for engaging with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and processes, using effective analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate RFQs with senior stakeholders and elicit business and IT requirements through interviews and collaboration.
  • Define in-scope services and conduct baseline assessments to identify performance benchmarks and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop business cases and create transition and change plans to support decision-making and smooth implementation.
  • Maintain and analyse technical data, assess technical debt, and evaluate end-of-life systems for strategic planning.
  • Track portfolio performance, collaborate on risk mitigation strategies, and support governance through reporting tools.
  • Forecast and allocate delivery capacity, support demand planning, and facilitate lessons learned sessions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role with proven ability to perform, including IT pre-sales planning and documentation.
  • Strong skills in data analysis (Excel, PowerBI) and presentation (PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated success managing commercial and technical engagements with hardware vendors and systems integrators, including outsourced IT providers.
