Lead with purpose
Uphold excellence and build on a legacy of impact
The Position
The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as its next Chief Executive Officer (CEO), following the planned retirement of the current CEO after a distinguished tenure. This transition marks a pivotal moment for the College, offering a special opportunity to build on a strong foundation and guide the organisation into a new era of strategic growth, innovation, and influence.
Reporting to the President and ANZCA Council, the CEO will lead, manage and continue to build the organisation's capacity to advocate on behalf of the profession and deliver programs and services that enhance the profession's standards of excellence. The CEO will oversee the day-to-day management of the College and will be accountable for driving and delivering key strategic priorities as agreed with Council. Recognised as a visionary and accomplished CEO, the successful candidate will have exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills along with the proven ability to advocate diplomatically, build effective partnerships and foster high performance within a complex organisation.
