Job Title: Cardiovascular Network Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our cardiovascular research network in Victoria. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the health and medical research environment in Victoria and Australia, including research funding schemes and collaborative networks.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing strategic support to drive day-to-day operations and growth of the cardiovascular research network.
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across research, health, and government sectors.
- Representing the network at external meetings and forums to further our mission.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills for audiences ranging from government, researchers, executives, donors, and general community.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that advance our mission.
- Developing and delivering presentations, reports, and other materials that effectively communicate our work to various stakeholders.
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments to ensure the network remains competitive and innovative.
Requirements:
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the health and medical research environment in Victoria and Australia.
- Experience in planning and delivering research, capacity building, and/or networking events.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Proven collaboration and high-level negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
