Cardiovascular Network Specialist

The Victorian Cardiovascular Research Network Lead is a key role in driving the daily operations and supporting the growth of the cardiovascular research network in Victoria.
Main Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the CVRN Executive Committee, including minute-taking, managing action items, and reporting.
- Coordinate high-profile CVRN events and workshops for researchers.
- Support the promotion of cardiovascular research in Victoria through social media and communications.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across research, health, and government sectors.
- Identify opportunities for collaboration and funding that benefit the network's stakeholders.
- Represent the Network at external meetings and forums.
This role requires a highly organised, proactive professional with a passion for cardiovascular research. Flexibility is key.
Requirements- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the health and medical research environment in Victoria and Australia.
- Experience in planning and delivering research, capacity building, and/or networking events.
- Ability to manage projects, have strong organisational and administrative skills, and work autonomously.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain positive working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven collaboration and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills for audiences ranging from government, researchers, executives, and the community.
