Business Growth Lead

As a Business Growth Lead, you will spearhead the development of strategic business opportunities that drive revenue growth through targeted business development initiatives. This role is focused on:

  • Identifying and securing new long-term contracts across diverse market sectors.
  • Developing compelling proposals and client engagement strategies.
  • Managing a robust pipeline of business opportunities.
  • Becoming a recognized industry expert in key verticals.

You will work closely with operational teams, senior leaders, and bid services teams to align growth strategy with capability and ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Developing deep expertise in key market sectors and establishing strong client relationships.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and managing an active sales pipeline in our CRM system.
  • Attending industry events and meetings to build client rapport and position our organization favorably.
  • Collaborating across the business to align service offerings with market needs.
  • Supporting excellence in bid development, tenders, timelines, and pricing accuracy.
  • Championing safety, sustainability, and ethical practices in all business activities.

This role requires:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Sales, or a related field— or significant relevant experience.
  • Proven track record in business development, strategic sales, or contract acquisition in B2B services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing competing priorities.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • A passion for sustainability and making a real impact.
