This is a key role in supporting the effective management of human resources within a local government organisation.

About the Job
  • Maintain and enhance the HR system (Aurion) to ensure it is accurate and up-to-date, providing support to all staff members.
  • Provide analytical and reporting support to the HR team and other organisational units.
  • Design and deliver reports to inform strategic decision-making and drive business improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and metrics to measure and track HR performance and progress.
  • Offer guidance and training to staff on how to use the HR system effectively.

Key Requirements:

  • A strong background in HR systems and analytics is essential.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a local government or public sector environment is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
