Radiology Workflow Coordinator Job

Support the success of NSW Hospital RIS/PACS operations by coordinating radiologist workflows.

About the Role
  • Optimize daily radiologist workflows to meet reporting KPIs for NSW hospital contracts, ensuring smooth collaboration with stakeholders and effective use of resources.
  • Become a key liaison between radiologists, hospital staff, and external stakeholders, facilitating open communication and issue resolution.
  • Troubleshoot RIS/PACS and workflow issues in a timely manner, escalating when necessary to vendors or internal IT teams.
  • Effectively manage workload distribution, monitor unreported lists, and implement backlog solutions to ensure optimal performance.
  • Analyze workflow and contract performance data to inform planning and reporting, supporting the implementation and maintenance of workflow tools and systems.
About You
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in a radiology clinic in a clinical, clerical, or administration role, with a strong understanding of radiology workflows and IT systems (RIS/PACS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Able to manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail, and apply an analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and proficient with performance data analysis.
