Key Responsibilities
  • Assist radiologists with procedures such as deep organ biopsies, lumbar punctures, PICC insertions, drainages, and pain management injections.
  • Provide expert care and guidance for patients before, during, and after procedures, including medication management.
  • Work collaboratively with medical imaging staff to streamline workflow and elevate the patient experience.
  • Engage with hospital departments and allied health professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Manage IV cannulation, PICC/Port device access, and other critical patient needs.
  • Coordinate complex patient bookings and liaison with referrers for interventional procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience in nursing, preferably in an acute or theatre/recovery setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage time effectively and work within a team.
  • A willingness to adapt to the dynamic needs of a fast-paced environment.
  • Cannulation skills are highly regarded, as is prior radiology experience, though full training will be provided to the right candidate.
  • Exceptional communication skills – you will need to work closely with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
