RIS/PACS Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RIS/PACS Manager to join our imaging radiology team in a permanent full-time role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for system management, service delivery, policy and systems development of our RIS/PACS system. This includes ensuring quality, training, and professional relationships are maintained and implemented in all aspects of the RIS/PACS system.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting and rectifying any problems with access to RIS-PACS.
  • Developing and implementing new workflows as required.
  • Facilitating and evaluating RIS-PACS training programs for medical imaging staff.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • A degree in medical radiation science and relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in information technology.
  • Proven experience managing a complex enterprise-wide IT solution across a major healthcare environment.
  • A thorough understanding and knowledge of RIS (radiology information system), PACS (pictures archiving and communication system) and medical imaging workflow and modalities within a large hospital setting.
