Service Station Leader

We are seeking a motivated leader to oversee the entire operations of our service station, ensuring seamless day-to-day management and high-quality customer service.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the service station, including stock control and staffing, promotions and financial management. They will also be expected to optimize operations, enhance customer experience, and maintain regulatory compliances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Operations: Direct, coordinate, and participate in all aspects of business preparation and execution.
  • Inventory & Stock Management:
    • Determine and order supplies needed to meet stock and cost goals.
    • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly records of stock levels and control inventory.
  • Purchasing & Marketing: Formulate marketing policies, set prices, and undertake budgeting activities.
  • Financial Management: Perform daily banking, budgeting, and closing procedures.
  • Staff Management: Assign, schedule, and monitor service station personnel, and manage recruitment, training, and performance.
  • Sales & Promotions: Ensure promotional material visibility and promote sales and service excellence.
  • CUSTOMER Relations: Greet customers, address inquiries, and resolve issues to ensure a pleasant experience.
  • Compliance: Ensure the premises meet cleanliness and health and safety standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in cross-functional meetings to enhance service quality.
  • VENDOR Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of proven retail management experience, preferably in a service station or medium to large retail store.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in stock management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to foster a positive team environment and deliver exceptional customer service.
