Jumbuck are on of Australia's largest wool producer and are a fourth-generation Australian business with large scale sheep and cattle stations throughout the country.

McCoys Well is well connected, just a short drive to Yunta and a 4-hour drive to Adelaide. The station is also nearby to the Flinders Ranges and wine producing regions of the Clare Valley including regional centres such as Jamestown, Peterborough and Orroroo.

Job Description:

We seek a permanent, full-time station hand at McCoys Well Station, just outside of Yunta in the North East Pastoral region of SA.

  • Great opportunity to work on a pastoral property

  • Comfortable on-station accommodation provided

  • Nearby to large regional centres, Peterborough, Jamestown and Orroroo

Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

Some of what you will be involved in:

  • Mustering of sheep on 2-wheel motorbikes

  • Water runs – checking various dams, bores and water points

  • Yard work and fencing

  • Various mechanical work including engine and small motor maintenance and servicing

Job Requirements:

  • The successful person will offer a minimum of 1 year livestock experience and be looking for a career opportunity in the industry.

  • Experience riding 2-wheel motorbikes will be necessary and sound mechanical knowledge will be an advantage.

  • Accommodation is provided on station in a comfortable 2-bedroom, semi-furnished cottage with air-conditioning.

  • You will be entitled to 6-weeks annual leave per year.
