This role requires close collaboration with the payroll processing team to ensure that all payroll activities are completed accurately and efficiently.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating payroll-related records, including employee personal information and roster schedules.
They will also assist in the preparation and maintenance of payroll spreadsheets, reports, and databases.
Additionally, the Payroll Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding payroll, leave, and timesheets.
They will provide support to employees in understanding their payslip, deductions, and leave.
The Payroll Coordinator will facilitate the resolution of payroll-related issues by liaising with the payroll processing team or HR department as needed.
Requirements- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a payroll or related administrative role, preferably within the mining or industrial sector.
- Familiarity with payroll systems, timekeeping software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Good understanding of payroll compliance requirements and employment laws.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and across departments.
