$53,000 plus super, with generous monthly performance incentives (circa $3.5k pa), as well as 60% store discount after qualifying period – T&C's apply.

Job Description

As a Team Leader at Pillow Talk, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our Mentone store. You will lead from the front, inspiring your peers to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the store leadership team in driving sales growth and achieving KPIs;
  • Receiving and organising store inventory to maintain an attractive and inviting visual appeal;
  • Providing excellent customer service, capitalising on every opportunity to bring comfort and style to life;
  • Collaborating with the team to develop and implement strategies to improve customer experience and drive sales growth;

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in a customer-centric retail environment within a Team Leader, Supervisor or 3IC role with proven exposure to customer service and supervising a team;
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and championing best practice in stock management, operational procedures, and visual merchandising;
  • Ability to support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in the overall running of the store, with confidence to step up when needed;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to develop relationships with customers and colleagues;
  • Consultative selling experience, with a proven ability to find the right products for customers and instil confidence;
  • Ability to multitask and cope with changing priorities;
  • Highly creative with a keen eye for detail;
  • Great listening and problem-solving skills.
