Environmental Sustainability Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our project delivery, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective implementation of environmental management and sustainability measures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science or a related field, with experience in inspection and monitoring of construction activities linked to environmental constraints/risk. They will be able to conduct regular environmental and sustainability inspections and monitoring requirements, as defined in our Project Environmental Management Plans.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of environmental management and sustainability strategies aligned with industry best practices.
  • Participate in project planning and risk assessment activities to identify and mitigate potential environmental risks and opportunities.
  • Conduct regular environmental and sustainability inspections and monitoring requirements, including noise, vibration, water, and air quality, biodiversity, and other relevant parameters.
  • Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance against environment and sustainability requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in inspection and monitoring of construction activities linked to environmental constraints/risk.
  • Fluent in the Microsoft Office suite of desktop applications, with proficiency in Excel.
