Environmental Sustainability Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects, collaborate with industry leaders, and make a meaningful difference in land revitalisation.
About the Role- Manage and support site investigations, environmental due diligence, portfolio assessments, remediation planning, and validation activities
- Work on diverse sites across commercial, industrial, petroleum and other sectors
- Balance technical work (field and office), project management, and team development
- Major SA road infrastructure projects: Environmental and geotechnical assessments including Torrens to Darlington (T2D) and Main South Road Upgrade
- New Women's and Children's Hospital: Preliminary soil, groundwater, and geotechnical investigations
- Redevelopment initiatives: Former Thebarton Bioscience Precinct and Royal Adelaide Hospital
- Property development support: Due diligence, environmental duty assessments, remediation and construction advisory
- EPA Assessment Areas and regulatory monitoring for licensed sites
- 5–8 years' experience in site contamination assessment, management, and delivery
- Proven strength in design, implementation, interpretation of environmental data and delivery of Contaminated Land Projects
- Technical knowledge across contaminants, environmental media, sampling, and remediation technologies (soil, groundwater, gas, etc.)
- Familiarity with local environmental regulations and assessment standards
- A record of excellence in client and project management
- Passion for mentoring junior staff and contributing to a high-performing, supportive culture
