Environmental Sustainability Specialist

The role of Environmental Coordinator plays a pivotal part in ensuring day-to-day compliance with environmental specifications, legislation, approvals, and other relevant requirements for our Eyre Peninsula Desalination Plant project.
- Contribute to the implementation of sustainable management measures as defined by the Project Environmental Management Plan.
- Collaborate in project planning and risk assessment activities to identify and control environmental risks and opportunities.
- Support the identification and execution of sustainability initiatives.
- Aid in planning, inspecting, and monitoring construction activities linked to environmental constraints/risks such as erosion & sediment control, vegetation clearing, night works, heritage protection, and contamination management.
- Regularly conduct environmental and sustainability inspections and monitoring requirements as defined in the Project Environmental Management Plans (i.e. noise, vibration, water, and air quality, biodiversity etc.).
Skills Required:
- Environmental management and sustainability expertise.
- Strong analytical skills to assess environmental risks and opportunities.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Able to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
