Environmental Sustainability Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Environmental Sustainability Specialist. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental specifications, legislation, approvals, and other relevant requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of environmental management and sustainability measures as defined by the project's environmental management plan and contractual requirements.
  • Participate in project planning and risk assessment activities to identify and control environmental risks and opportunities.
  • Assist with the identification and implementation of sustainability initiatives.
  • Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance against environment and sustainability requirements.
Requirements
  • Ideal tertiary qualification in environmental management, engineering, environmental science, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in inspection and monitoring of construction activities linked to environmental constraints/risks.
  • Experience in marine ecology would be beneficial.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office suite of desktop applications and related software packages, with proficiency in Excel a must.
