Sustainable Environment Leader

The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning and executing environmental site assessment and remediation projects that improve the health and wellbeing of communities.
This role involves providing strategic and practical solutions to clients with a broad range of environmental management challenges under the guidance of an experienced Project Director. Key responsibilities include:
- Project management, including planning, delivery, and reporting
- Working on varied and interesting projects, such as industrial and Defence sites, greenfields and brownfields redevelopments, groundwater hydrogeology investigations, and multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects
- Mentoring and training junior professionals throughout project delivery
- Leading the preparation of technical reports, presenting information clearly and logically, supported by appropriate interpretation of technical data in accordance with relevant guidelines and legislation
To be successful for this role, you'll need:
- Degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Chemistry or related field
- 5-10 years' experience within the field of contaminated land assessment and/or environmental assessment and remediation
- Strong project management, analytical, reporting, and verbal communication skills
- Client service focus with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in team environments
