Job Title

About the role:

  • We are seeking a motivated Environmental Scientist to facilitate environmental projects.

This position involves working on various projects, including groundwater monitoring, soil contamination, landfill gas, data quality, planning, and site maintenance programs.

  • Collecting data for large-scale environmental monitoring programs is essential.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for project works from inception to completion, including health and safety protocols, financial management, laboratory coordination, data collation, and minor reporting.
  • Field work and environmental data collection activities for surface and groundwaters, gas monitoring, and soil sampling are key components of this role.

About You:

  • Prior industry experience in groundwater or contaminated land monitoring is preferred but not essential.
  • A degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, Hydrography, or similar fields is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, as well as experience with ESDAT, Hydstra, Campbells, AutoCAD, and Arc GIS, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent time management and eagerness to acquire new skills and meet challenges are essential qualities for success in this role.
