IPAR is a national occupational rehabilitation provider supporting thousands of people who may be living with an illness, disability, or injury.
We work collaboratively with allied health professionals and employment consultants to provide psychological or physical supports tailored to each individual.
About the Role:
Our team seeks a skilled Rehabilitation Counsellor with expertise in specialist assessments and mentoring to join our Liverpool, NSW location.
As a key member of our team, you will assist clients in achieving return to work outcomes through vocational assessments, case management, and injury prevention programs.
You will collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to develop and implement effective workplace education programs.
Qualifications include tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences, or Rehabilitation Counselling, and general or provisional registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist or eligibility for membership with ASORC.
Additional requirements include fabulous communication skills, compassion, kindness, well-developed time management skills, and a current NSW Driver's License.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in employment or education under various schemes;
- Conduct Vocational Assessments, ETE Assessment, Earning Capacity Assessments, Employability Assessments, Transferrable Skills Assessments, and Labour Market Research;
- Case manage clients; and
- Develop and implement injury prevention programs.
