Job Summary:

Mills Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Administrator to join our client's team. As a key hire, you will play a crucial role in the implementation of Xero Practice Manager and support the firm's continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Prepare workpaper files for review, post entries into the practice management system, and process journal entries on a monthly basis.
  • Bookkeeping and Accounting: Manage monthly BASs, reconcile bank accounts, process credit card payments, trust account requisitions, and oversee bank account and cash flow management.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist with client fee preparation, manage debt collections, and support managers/partners with accounts payable and receivable tasks.
  • Insurance and Compliance: Manage insurances, FBT, lease management, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Payroll and HR: Prepare monthly payroll, manage new starters and terminations, process leave, and make superannuation payments.
  • Administrative Support: Provide PA support to partners and associate partners, assist with employment contracts, and support the implementation of new software.

Requirements:

  • Experience in assisting with the rollout of new software.
  • Knowledge of internal office refits and relocations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
