We are seeking an experienced Environmental Lawyer to join our WA Practice team. As a key member of our team, you will work on a broad range of environmental issues, including climate justice, pollution, water, cultural heritage protection, and biodiversity.
Key Responsibilities- Work on environmental law cases, including climate justice, pollution, water, cultural heritage protection, and biodiversity
- Collaborate with diverse communities and individuals to deliver our work
- Develop and implement law reform or policy initiatives
- Conduct research and analysis to inform our work
- Contribute to the development of our practice and strategy
- Unrestricted practicing certificate or entitlement to one
- Minimum 3 years PAE working as a solicitor with environmental law, administrative law, or litigation experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound judgments and decisions
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated litigation experience in administrative or environmental law and/or related disciplines
- Capacity to work collaboratively with diverse communities and individuals
- Personal qualities and cultural competency, including a strong sense of ethics and understanding of professional obligations
