Job Description
  • Role: Data Engineer
  • Contract Type: 6 months contract
  • Location: Sydney

The organisation is seeking a Data Engineer to join its data and analytics team, focusing on the development of high-impact CEO and CIO dashboards.

You'll work closely with business analysts, executives, and technical teams to design, develop, and optimise performance management dashboards.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and optimise performance management dashboards tailored for CIO and CEO use.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across all dashboard outputs.
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Utilise tools such as Power BI and other data visualisation platforms.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a solid foundation in business analysis.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into business-friendly insights.
  • Hands-on experience with performance management dashboards.
  • Power BI experience.
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and proactively manage priorities.
